Azeris, Russian peacekeepers discuss “illegal exploitation of resources” in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - A group of Azerbaijanis who blocked the road connecting Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh on December 3 have agreed with the Russian peacekeeping forces to “develop a roadmap” to examine the “illegal exploitation of natural resources” in Nagorno-Karabakh, Interfax.az reports.

Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy and AzerGold CJSC met the Russian peacekeepers in their headquarters in the village of Ivanyan near Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh’s capital.

The group unblocked the road only after three hours of negotiations with the authorities of Karabakh and the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
