Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport resigns

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia Vahram Dumanyan has resigned from his post, Ministry press secretary Gegham Melikbekyan said Monday, December 12, Sputnik Armenia reports.

Dumanyan was appointed to the post on August 3, 2021. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2019, he was the Academic Secretary of the Specialized Council "Mathematical Cybernetics" at YSU under the Higher Attestation Commission. From 2007–2020 - Chairman of the Republican Commission of the Olympiad for schoolchildren in informatics.

According to a report from Haykakan Zhamanak, Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan has been relieved of his post too. The latter was appointed to the position by a presidential decree on November 25, 2021. Previously, he served as governor of Armavir.
