Azerbaijani, Russia parliaments sign agreement on cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Parliament of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova and Chairman of Russia’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin signed an agreement on cooperation between the two parliaments on Monday, February 13, Interfax.az reports.

This is the first such agreement between the Milli Majlis and the State Duma. A decision was also made to establish a high-level inter-parliamentary commission.

According to him, the parliaments of the two countries need to work on legislative support for the decisions taken at the level of presidents, which the citizens of Russia and Azerbaijan are waiting for.
