Armenian, U.S. officials discuss Turkey normalization

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly, Special Representative of Armenia in the normalization process of Armenia-Turkey relations Ruben Rubinyan met with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Erika Olson Monday, April 17.

Rubinyan gave the details of the normalization process of relations between Armenia and Turkey. Olson informed that the U.S. supports the normalization process.

The sides underscored the importance of the quick implementation of the agreement on the opening of the land border for citizens of third countries and diplomatic passport holders this summer.

Rubinyan also presented the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The parties also discussed issues related to regional security and stability.
