Armenian Diaspora concerned over RA and Turkish Foreign Ministries' statement
The statement issued by Armenian and Turkish Foreign Ministries cause anxiety in Armenian Diaspora, French freelance correspondent Jean Eckian told PanARMENIAN.Net.

"Armenians express their worries in respect of the statement made by Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Turkey. This statement is undesirable due to the following reasons: it is made on the threshold of April 24, when Armenians of the world commemorate the Armenian Genocide, and second it may force Armenia to concessions on the Armenian Genocide recognition and Karabakh conflict resolution," said Eckian.

Armenian Diaspora representatives think whenever official Yerevan walks in "doubtful and dangerous talks" must realize that Armenians of France, other counties, Armenian and Karabakh will reject any agreement that jeopardizes national interests.

"Like millions of Diaspora Armenians, I am deeply concerned over the latest developments as regards the tripartite - Armenia, Turkey and Switzerland - road map. It is my sincere wish and hope that Armenia does not lose out to Turkish ploys. A denialist Turkey is never to be trusted. Armenians in Armenia and around the world will not accept any kind of capitulation to Ankara. No Armenian leader is authorized to jeopardize our national interests," said Armenian Life Magazine publisher Appo Jabarian.
