Gretchen Brown: I hope Obama will say Genocide
American philanthropist Gretchen Brown, who financed the tour of Singing Men of Oklahoma to Yerevan hopes that U.S. President Barack Obama will use the term Genocide in his annual April 24 statement.
"A large number of Americans are not aware of the Armenian Genocide. Personally I learned about it several years ago and call for international recognition of this crime," she told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
"I am happy to live in Armenia and speak Armenian," she said.
