Armenian soldiers killed in Azerbaijan’s fire from across the border

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian soldier was killed after Azerbaijani forces opened fire at military positions in the village of Sotk village in Gegharkunik Province on Wednesday, May 18, the Defense Ministry reported.

The soldier who died before reaching the hospital was being transported in an ambulance, which was also shot at by Azerbaijani forces, also injuring a paramedic.

The defense ministry said that the paramedic was in satisfactory condition.

Last Thursday, another Armenian soldier was killed and eight others wounded when Azerbaijani forces launched a large-scale offensive against military positions in and around Sotk.
