Armenian army loses communication with two servicemen

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Defense Ministry reports losing communication with two servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces supplying food to combat positions beginning from 7pm Friday, May 26.

Search operations are underway to find the servicemen. The possibility of the troops finding themselves on the Azerbaijani side under still unknown circumstances is also being investigated, the Ministry of added.

At the same time, the Armenian side denied information coming from Azerbaijan that Armenia "made a subversive infiltration attempt" in the southeastern part of the border as "absolutely false and untrue".

According to the Azerbaijani media, "a sabotage-intelligence group was found" in the Zangilan section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, 2 Armenian servicemen were detained.

The Armenian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday that the vehicle the two soldiers drove was discovered on a road between positions.
