Pashinyan congratulates Erdogan on re-election as Turkish President

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Sunday, May 28 congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election as Turkish President.

“Looking forward to continuing working together towards full normalization of relations between our countries,” Pashinyan wrote on Twitter.

Erdogan was declared winner by Turkey’s Supreme Election Council. He will extend power into a third decade. With almost all of the votes counted, Erdogan received 52.14 percent of votes in the second round on Sunday, beating his challenger, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who won 47.86 percent, according to the Supreme Election Council.
