Armenia: Deeply saddened by tragic train accident in Balasore![]() June 3, 2023 - 13:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Foreign Ministry has expressed condolences over a major rail accident involving two express trains in Balasore district of Odisha, India. “Deeply saddened by the tragic train accident in Balasore, Odisha,” the Ministry said on Twitter on Saturday, June 3. “Armenia shares the grief of brotherly people in India. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families & prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured.” At least 261 passengers were feared dead and around 650 injured in the accident on June 2 evening. Therescue operations at the site have been completed, a South Eastern Railway official said on June 3. ![]() ![]() Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan has said Armenia will, in all likelihood, ratify the Rome Statute.
