Yerevan reveals key issues that need to be agreed upon with Baku

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Azerbaijan have yet to agree on a number of key issues, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan told Aysor.am on Friday, June 30.

According to him, the border demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the withdrawal of troops and the creation of an international mechanism for establishing a dialogue between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakhk are among said issues. Badalyan’s comments came one days after the Foreign Ministry announced that at a recent meeting in the United States, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov reached an agreement on additional articles and advanced mutual understanding of the draft agreement, meanwhile acknowledging that the positions on some key issues require further work.
