Russia accuses the West of using “dirty methods” to turn Yerevan against Moscow

PanARMENIAN.Net - Director of the fourth department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry Denis Gonchar has declared that Western countries use “dirty methods” to blackmail Armenia, turning the country against Russia.

“Any methods, including absolutely dirty ones, are used,” the diplomat said in an interview with TASS on Thursday, August 3.

Among them, he named sanctions blackmail, unfair competition, as well as "amorphous promises."

Also Thursday, Gonchar said that a hastily prepared peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan would lead to new conflicts. According to Gonchar, Russia proceeds from the fact that the terms of signing should be determined by the parties themselves.
