EU says reinforces patrols on Armenian-Azerbaijani border

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union Mission has reinforced patrols at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border areas and the line of confrontation, also near the town Sotk village – where the Azerbaijani military opened fire on Wednesday, September 20 – to report on any military and security developments on the ground.

“We reiterate our commitment to the mandate and to contributing to stabilising the situation,” the EUMA said in a tweet on Thursday morning.

The communication comes a day after the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh agreed to all of Azerbaijan’s conditions, including the dissolution of the Defense Army.
