Armenia skips VSTO meeting on eve of OSCE Ministerial Council

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has skipped a regular working meeting of the representatives of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which was held in Skopje on the eve of the OSCE Ministerial Council slated for November 30 and December 1, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson has said, according to RFE/RL’s Armenian service.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties have discussed approaches to key issues on the OSCE agenda and agreed to strengthen cooperation in Vienna and other international platforms.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan informed that the representative of Armenia did not participate in the meeting, without giving additional details.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
