Officers had found 12 ammunition cartridges and five grams of hashish were found in his apartment, the statement said. It also said that Nadir Aliyev, detained on Friday, the day after the shooting, had been charged as an accomplice. He had been at the university with the gunman on the morning of the shooting, said the statement. Police say the gunman, 29-year-old Farda Gadirov, killed 12 people and wounded 13 at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy with a semi-automatic pistol.
