Report: Azerbaijan captured 16 Karabakh people in September

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan continues to hold 23 people hostage, 16 of whom were captured as a result of Baku’s aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh on 19 September 2023, according to a government report for 2023.

The report says there is evidence of the enforced disappearance of at least 32 people after the 2020 war, whose fate Azerbaijan does not reveal.

The fate of 215 citizens of Armenia and Karabakh considered missing in the 44-day war of 2020 and after that and 777 missing in the 1990s remains to be determined.
