Baku says Russian companies seek involvement in 24 projects in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan has received applications from Russian companies for 24 projects to work in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Alekperov has said, according to TASS.

Alekperov said Monday, July 15 that his country expects the “active participation” of Russian companies in projects in Karabakh, which will “contribute to the further strengthening of partnership ties” between Azerbaijan and Russia.

According to him, so far, the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan has received requests for 24 projects from Russian companies.

He emphasized that companies operating in Karabakh will receive “very favorable benefits.”
