Armenia denies reports of positional change on borderJuly 27, 2024 - 13:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has denied reports alleging some change in positions in a section of the border with Azerbaijan. “A recent post by a social network user, containing disinformation, has been circulated in the press. In response, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia clarifies that there has been no positional change in the Yeraskh section,” the Defense Ministry said. “We urge our media partners to rely on official information and refrain from disseminating unverified or false news. In similar instances, we recommend verifying information with the relevant department within the Ministry of Defence.” The Ministry said there has been a “noticeable” increase in “targeted disinformation publications” by foreign special services in international media, related to various activities of the Armenian Armed Forces. “We urge the public and our media partners to remain vigilant and adhere to official information sources,” the Defense Ministry said.
