RA Foreign Ministry: Turkey should not interfere with Nagorno Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey's support to the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be in not interfering with the process. This was stated by the foreign minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian during the meeting with the UK Special Representative for the South Caucasus Sir Brian Fall. According to the foreign minister, negotiations aimed at settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh problem are carried out within the MG OSCE based on Madrid principles, and the two sides are trying to approximate their positions.



In the course of the meeting the officials discussed the ways of broadening cooperation between Armenia and the Great Britain. An agreement was reached about organizing regular meetings between foreign ministries of Armenia and the Great Britain.



Mr. Brian Fall welcomed the advancement in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and Armenian-Turkish reconciliation and expressed hope that in the nearest future the sides will bring into life reached agreements.



In the course of the meeting the necessity of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict based on the principles of international right was stressed, reported press office of the RA foreign ministry.
