New Armenian envoy presents credentials to Russia’s Galuzin

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 11, Armenia's Ambassador Gurgen Arsenyan presented the copies of his credentials to Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

“During their conversation, the officials discussed the current state of Russian-Armenian relations and their prospects,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a short statement.

Arsenyan, a businessman turned pro-government lawmaker, resigned in August, fueling speculation he was set to be appointed as Armenia’s next ambassador to Russia.
