Cyprus interested in developing relations with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly appointed Ambassador of Cyprus to Armenia Petros Kestoras (residence in Moscow) handed his credentials to RA President Serzh Sargsyan.



Welcoming the diplomat, President Sargsyan assessed highly the level of Armenia-Cyprus political dialogue and voiced hope for its further development.



For his part, Ambassador Kestoras thanked Armenia for its principled position on the Cypriot issue in international organizations and pledged to spare no effort to strengthen ties between the two countries.



On the diplomat's request, President Sargsyan briefed on the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process and normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations.
