“My Armenian phantoms” to premiere at Berlin Film Festival

PanARMENIAN.Net - The documentary “My Armenian phantoms” by filmmaker Tamara Stepanyan will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival’s Forum program, the website of the festival reports.

“A tender posthumous letter to Tamara’s father, who was a film actor in Soviet Armenia. She already watched him on TV as a child before later establishing herself as a filmmaker. A captivating sleepwalk through the landscapes of Armenian film history,” says the Festical description of the film.

The film is a joint French-Armenian production.

The Forum and Forum Expanded are programmes independently curated and organised by Arsenal – Institute for Film and Video Art as part of the Berlinale.
