Gevorg Mantashyan, Armenia’s First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry, emphasized that this partnership is crucial for developing a strong tech ecosystem, integrating talented professionals, and improving governance efficiency through AI solutions. Mistral AI CEO Arthur Mensch highlighted Armenia’s dynamic AI ecosystem, expressing pride in supporting the country’s public sector, startups, and tech talents with their AI-driven solutions. The agreement outlines plans to enhance AI infrastructure in Armenia, support AI-based business solutions, and modernize public governance through the GovTech program. Mistral AI’s expertise in both commercial and open-source AI technologies will be leveraged in these processes. The initiative aims to position Armenia as a regional AI hub, fostering innovation and technological growth. The document focuses on strengthening Armenia’s AI ecosystem through technical support and knowledge exchange, developing platforms for business solutions, and integrating AI tools into public administration and service delivery.
