Armenia, Luxembourg discuss security cooperation![]() February 14, 2025 - 17:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, who is on a working visit to Munich, met with Luxembourg’s Minister of Defense Yuriko Backes on February 14. The two officials reviewed the implementation of agreements reached during their June 2024 meeting and agreed to take practical steps to enhance cooperation in the near future. They also discussed international and regional security matters. Papikyan also held meetings with the Defense Ministers of Italy and Sweden. On February 13, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan traveled to Germany to participate in the Munich Security Conference. Bilateral meetings with partner nations’ defense officials are planned. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
