EU mission's new mandate takes effect in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) officially began operating under its new mandate on February 20. In a statement on X, EUMA confirmed its continued commitment to regional peace and stability.

"On the first day of EUMA's new mandate, we proudly reaffirm our dedication to regional peace and stability. Our patrols along the Armenian side of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border will continue. New mandate: 20.02.2025 - 19.02.2027," the statement read.

The European Council has extended EUMA's mandate in Armenia for two years, until 2027.
