"Although Azerbaijan periodically makes statements regarding various provisions of negotiations with Armenia, I have the impression that Baku is in a waiting phase," he wrote. According to Abrahamyan, since the beginning of the new U.S. administration's term, different countries have been trying to clarify their positions, especially concerning their ongoing conflicts. "This pertains not so much to U.S. approaches toward solutions but rather to determining whether, in specific situations, the use of force constitutes a red line for the U.S. or if this issue is of interest or relevance to them at this stage," the MP explained. He further noted that a potential resolution to the Russia-Ukraine war and broader agreements between Russia and the U.S. would significantly impact the developments in the South Caucasus, shaping the regional situation accordingly. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
