Armavia awards 200000th passenger in 2009

PanARMENIAN.Net - 200 thousandth passenger of Armavia Air company in 2009 departed for Zurich. The morning of 25 May had a great surprise for Mary Yeranosyan departing from Yerevan to Zurich with Armavia, the company's press office said.



Reaching the check-in desk she was pleasantly surprised to see stewardesses standing with a bunch of flowers, a big plasma SAMSUNG TV-set and TV cameras directed to her. The point is that Mary Yeranosyan has become the 200 thousandth passenger of Armavia Air Company in 2009.



"This campaign is being held annually, and this year Armavia is expecting to transfer its millionth passenger who will be presented with a car," said Teresa Ghazaryan, deputy commercial director of Armavia.



The 200-thousandth passenger, Mary Yeranosyan, in her turn, expressed her gratitude to the company for the presents and nice attitude and mentioned that she has been using services of Armavia Air Company and is always happy for any innovation, whether it is a new comfortable air plane or new destinations. "I will hence be flying only with Armavia, the aircrafts are comfortable, Armavia is safe and secure," Mary Yeranosyan said.



Besides the plasma TV-set and the bunch of flowers, Armavia upgraded the passenger's class of service from economy to business. Yerevan-Zurich is a new flight which has been operating since 30 March, 2009. Zurich is a new gateway for our passengers to western and southern Europe, and to North America as well.
