Personal exhibition of Nikol Aghababyan's works opens in YerevanMay 26, 2009 - 20:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In honor of 140th anniversary of Armenian writer Hovhannes Toumanyan his counterpart artist Nicol Aghababyan organized the exhibition of his works created within the last ten years. First during the last two years personal exhibition of Nikol Aghababyan's works was organized on May 26 in the House Museum of Hovhannes Toumanyan. The exhibition was timed to 45th birthday of the author. "Works of Nikol Aghababyan made people to carry on a dialogue with pictures, and this is the most important trait of the artist. We can state that the exhibition was a success," told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter art critic Levon Galstyan at the opening of the exhibition. Nikol Aghababyan was born in 1964 in Lori. In 1986 he graduated in arts from the culture department of the Yerevan Pedagogical Institute. Since 1992 Nikol Aghababyan is a member of Union of Artists of Armenia and UNESCO. Since 1986 personal exhibitions of the artist have been organized in different galleries of Armenia, France, Syria, Germany and the US.
