Defense ministry says gunfire not targeting Armenian territory

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Defense Ministry has addressed various videos and posts circulating online about gunfire near the border, clarifying that the shots are not directed at Armenian territory.

Responding to social media content showing incidents along different parts of the Armenia–Azerbaijan border, the ministry confirmed that while gunfire is occasionally recorded, it does not target the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

Given the nature of these incidents, the ministry refrains from issuing formal statements about ceasefire violations when there is no direct threat to Armenian positions.
