Azerbaijani forces fire at Armenian village overnight

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Azerbaijani unit opened fire overnight at the village of Khnatsakh in Armenia’s Syunik Province, damaging a house, the Ministry of Defense reported.

"On March 31, at around 00:50, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the village of Khnatsakh in Syunik Province, damaging a residential house," the ministry stated.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense also denied an Azerbaijani statement alleging that Armenian forces had fired at Azerbaijani positions between 10:30 p.m. on March 30 and 4:35 a.m. on March 31 along the eastern and southeastern border.

Since March 16, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense has repeatedly spread disinformation, falsely claiming that Armenia initiated cross-border shootings. Armenia's Ministry of Defense consistently refutes these accusations. The European Union’s observation mission has also denied the Azerbaijani claims.
