Azerbaijan shells house in Armenian village Khnatsakh![]() May 8, 2025 - 19:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A residential building's roof in Khnatsakh, Syunik Province, was damaged after Azerbaijani forces opened fire late on May 7, according to Armenia’s Ministry of Defense. The incident occurred around 10:22 p.m. and did not result in any injuries. “We urge the Azerbaijani side to investigate the shelling of the Khnatsakh house and provide a public explanation,” the ministry’s statement said. A similar incident occurred on March 31 at approximately 12:50 a.m., when Azerbaijani troops fired in the direction of Khnatsakh, damaging another residential home. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
