"The statement by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, alleging that on May 13, between 8:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire toward Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern sections of the border, does not correspond to reality," the ministry said in a statement. On May 13, Aram Torosyan, spokesperson for Armenia’s Ministry of Defense, noted that “occasional, non-targeted gunfire is sometimes observed from the Azerbaijani side along the border.” On May 9, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Azerbaijani armed forces fired toward the village of Khnatsakh in Armenia’s Syunik Province, damaging the roof of a residential house. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
