Cyprus delegation visit Genocide memorial in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 20, a delegation headed by Anita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, paid tribute at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex in Yerevan, upon the invitation of Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan.

At the eternal flame, the delegation laid a wreath and flowers, honoring the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with silence.

During their visit to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, they examined documentary evidence of the Genocide. Anita Demetriou left a message in the guest book of Honorary Visitors.

The delegation also included Hasmik Hakobyan and Hripsime Hunanyan, members of the inter-parliamentary commission for cooperation between the National Assembly of Armenia and the House of Representatives of Cyprus.
