Tsarukyan says he has no ambition to become Prime Minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party and businessman Gagik Tsarukyan has stated he has no ambition to become Prime Minister. Speaking on a TV program, Tsarukyan emphasized that the country’s current situation requires more than what any single political party can offer.

“This country is in such a state that no party—whether old or new—can fix it alone. A supra-party force is needed to unite ideas and vision,” he said, as reported by Aysor.am .

He warned that Armenia is “standing on the edge of a cliff,” stressing the urgency of creating a unifying force capable of rallying the entire nation. “I’m ready to help organize and unite the nation. I’ve achieved everything in life; I don’t need a title. I am prepared to organize this initiative, but I do not aspire to be prime minister,” Tsarukyan said.

According to Panorama.am , he added that any such movement must aim to bring together the country’s best specialists: “We need people who prioritize the national interest and care about the country’s future—whether or not they belong to a party. Many don’t want to be part of any party but are ready to work for the nation. We must find a way to include them in Armenia’s recovery and development.”

He concluded that if he does participate in the 2026 elections, it will be under the slogan “A Proposal to Armenia.”
