  U.S. Deputy Secretary of State praises Armenia’s diplomacy role May 30, 2025 - 17:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Josh Huck emphasized Armenia’s leading role in regional diplomacy following a meeting with Ruben Rubinyan, Vice President of the National Assembly and Armenia's special envoy for normalization with Turkey. “It is encouraging to see Armenia's leading role in regional diplomacy. I had a productive discussion with Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and special envoy for Armenia-Turkey normalization Ruben Rubinyan on Armenia’s efforts to normalize relations with Turkey,” Huck stated in a message published by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia. The American diplomat has since traveled to Azerbaijan, where he will continue bilateral consultations with government officials. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
