Pashinyan emphasized the importance of strengthening the friendly relations and partnership between Armenia and the United States, both bilaterally and on international platforms. He presented the latest regional developments and underscored the importance of Armenia’s peace agenda in promoting regional stability. Senator Daines thanked the Prime Minister for the reception and reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to supporting Armenia’s democracy and ensuring regional stability. On January 14 in Washington, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed a strategic partnership document to reinforce bilateral cooperation. During the signing ceremony, Blinken announced that a U.S. team specializing in customs and border security would visit Armenia in the coming weeks to work with local partners on enhancing border protection capabilities. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
