Gunfire reported again near Khoznavar village

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gunfire was heard again on May 31 near Khoznavar village in Armenia’s Syunik Province, the local administrator Vahan Zakyan said, according to Factor.am . He stated, “There were about 7 or 8 shots last night, just like every day.”

When asked whether there were any injuries or damage to houses, Zakyan responded negatively, explaining, “They shot into the air. No one in the village is frightened or worried.”

Azerbaijani forces have been sporadically firing near the village for some time.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that on May 30, between 00:10 and 01:00, Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire in the direction of Khoznavar, damaging a bathroom in a residential home and killing a small ruminant.
