Armenian FM attends biodiversity conference in France

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is on a working visit to Nice, France, from June 9 to 10.

Ahead of the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, which will be held in Yerevan, and at the invitation of the French Foreign Minister, Mirzoyan will participate in the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference.

On June 10, a side event titled “From mountains to oceans: conserving biodiversity beyond environmental boundaries for a sustainable future” will take place. It is co-organized by Armenia and France, hosts of COP 17 and the UN Ocean Conference respectively.

Bilateral meetings with partner officials are also scheduled during the visit.
