RА National Security Secretary backs EU engagement

PanARMENIAN.Net - National Security Secretary Armen Grigoryan praised the official visit of Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Bérset to Yerevan, highlighting its positive impact on the process of expanding cooperation with the European Union.

“Of course, I view this visit positively. You know that Armenia‑EU relations have never been this strong. We have ambitions to deepen those ties, include new sectors, and work on developing our relations,” he said, as reported by Armenpress.

Grigoryan also emphasized that the Secretary General’s visit serves as an important catalyst in the process of deepening and expanding relations between Yerevan and Brussels.

Alain Bérset paid an official visit to Armenia on June 11–12, meeting with President Vahagn Khachatryan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonian, and Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan.
