Dink’s daughter urges Armenia to open diplomatic office in Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - Delal Dink, daughter of the late Hrant Dink, emphasized the significance of dialogue and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s presence in Turkey during his recent meeting with the Armenian community in Istanbul.

She described Pashinyan’s visit as historic and welcomed his intention to invite Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Armenia, according to Aysor.am .

“We are neighboring countries and live in times when we understand how crucial peace is. We know issues cannot be solved instantly, but dialogue is essential,” Dink said.

She proposed that Armenia should open a diplomatic office in Turkey, highlighting the difficulties faced by Armenian citizens living there.

“There are many Armenians in Turkey facing serious problems—newborns without documents, patients needing medical care. We need a structure here, such as an embassy or consulate,” she stressed.
