Yerevan to host Metamorphosis feature film premiere
Yerevan will host Metamorphosis feature film premiere. On June 12 and 13 movie director Ruben Kotchar will present his new work in Moscow Movie Theater. Movie creators aimed to portray the widespread phenomenon of a person's total absorption by the virtual world, when the borderline is lost between what's virtual and real.
"In our days it's hard to introduce something new. The film is a certain type of collage, which introduced something of novelty and provocation into Armenian cinema," the director describes his movie.
The movie was fully shot in USA. Besides well known Armenian artists, like Hovhannes Babakhanyan, Luisa Narsisyan, the movie involves Narine Lalayan, Eddie de Leon, Jean-Pierre Nshanyan.
According to film director Ruben Kotchar, the movie is dedicated to the jubilee of writer William Saroyan. Action is set in USA; Armenians are main characters in the movie. The accent is put on describing the image of every Armenian, met in any part of the world.
Main character's role is played by Hovhannes Babakhanyan, main woman character -by Narine Lalayan.
