Armenian FM holds talks with Turkish envoy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Turkey’s special envoy for the Armenia–Turkey normalization process, Serdar Kılıç. No further details have yet been disclosed.

Earlier, Kılıç had met with Armenia’s special envoy Ruben Rubinyan.

The envoys reaffirmed issues developed and agreed upon during previous meetings, aimed at advancing full normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey. In this context, they discussed implementing the agreement reached at the July 1, 2022, meeting concerning border crossings. Both sides agreed to accelerate this process.

They also agreed that relevant agencies of both countries will conduct necessary technical studies for the restoration and operation of the Gyumri–Kars railway and the power transmission line.
