Abraham Gasparyan quits broadcasting for political career

PanARMENIAN.Net - Journalist, analyst, and broadcaster Abraham Gasparyan has announced his departure from the media sphere to begin active political engagement.

“From now on, I’ll only appear on air as a guest. Today I will end my political, analytical, and broadcasting work and transition to a critical and exponentially more important task,” Gasparyan stated, as reported by Aysor.am.

He emphasized that it's time to contribute through action rather than words and stressed the urgency of national involvement in state development.

“I fully understand the heavy burden of responsibility. The time for talk is over. It’s time for action. Considering the grave situation in the country, starting today, I am officially entering the political process. I will not form a party. Everyone knows I belong ideologically to the national-state-oriented camp. Starting tomorrow, I will begin consultations, excluding any cooperation with the current authorities, their affiliates, or those they brought to power,” he said.

Parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 2026.
