The book was written by journalist Gayane Atanesyan after years of communication with the actress, who told about the sacrifices she had to make for the sake of art, about motherhood and her family. Varduhi Varderesyan born 19 March, 1928, in Bucharest, Romania is an Armenian actress. She repatriated to Armenia in 1946, where she finished the studio of Leninakan Dramatical Theater (now Gyumri, Armenia), then worked in the same theater. Since 1958 she has been one of the leading actresses of the Sundukyan Drama Theatre of Yerevan. In 1988 she won the People's Artist of the USSR.
