Member of Armenia’s women’s national chess team Mariam Mkrtchyan has been awarded the title of FIDE Grandmaster, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.

Mariam Mkrtchyan is the Armenian national champion and has also won world and European championship titles in the under-18 age category.
