Further delay in NKR independence acknowledgement could come at a cost
"Despite regular meetings between RA and Azeri presidents and their optimistic statements, the events around NKR conflict settlement are taking a destructive turn," political observer, Head of Analitika.at.ua Information - Analytical Center Marat Hakobyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
According to him, Ankara is using negotiations on Armenian -Turkish border opening as a pretext to interfere in NKR conflict settlement issue, and Azeri government is trying to form so-called shadow NKR government, demanding participation in negotiation process which is an overt challenge.
"This farce discredits the whole negotiation process. Yerevan's recognition of NKR independence should become a logical development of eves, after which negotiations on NKR conflict settlement should b continued. The necessity to acknowledge NKR independence has become vital upon Azeri government's creation of so-called shadow NKR government.
Further delay in NKR independence acknowledgement could come at a cost for both Yerevan and Stepanakert.
Armenia has to realistically assess the inadequacy of Baku's position in NKR independence recognition and make the opponents fact the irreversibility of events with a 15 years' history," Hakobyan emphasized.
