Deputy minister of labor steps down

PanARMENIAN.Net - David Khachatryan is stepping down from his position as Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. He announced his resignation via a post on his Facebook page.

In his message, Khachatryan expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the deputy prime ministers, and gave special thanks to Armenia’s Ambassador to the U.S., former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan.

“Public service has been a mission for me. I view this stage as another transition toward being useful in new formats,” he wrote.

Khachatryan did not disclose the reasons behind his departure.

He had held the position since December 22, 2020, serving as deputy minister for nearly four years.
