Former Armenia national team goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky says it’s high time Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan made the move to European football.
Speaking to Metaratings.ru, Berezovsky expressed hope that the transfer would happen either this winter or in the summer of 2026.
“I hope Spertsyan transfers in 2026. He’s shown high-level football for a while now, and it’s time for him to step up to a European league. The key is which club he joins. Spertsyan has what it takes to play for a top-tier club in one of the big five leagues and make his name known,” Berezovsky said.
In the current Russian Premier League season, Spertsyan has appeared in 18 matches, scoring 8 goals and providing 12 assists. His contract with Krasnodar runs through June 30, 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €25 million.
Eduard Spertsyan is a product of Krasnodar’s academy and has made 168 appearances for the senior team, recording 53 goals and 45 assists.
