Netherlands reaffirms support for Armenia reforms![]() February 4, 2026 - 10:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the reaffirmation of support for democratic reforms in Armenia in the new coalition agreement of the Netherlands. MFA spokesperson Ani Badalyan shared the statement on X. She noted that the move reflects a commitment to core values. “We welcome our strategic partner’s reaffirmation through the new Dutch coalition agreement of its continued support for democratic reforms in Armenia. This reflects our shared commitment to fundamental values and forms an important basis for further strengthening the strategic partnership between Armenia and the Netherlands,” the post reads. In 2025, Armenia and the Netherlands signed a declaration on strategic partnership. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
