
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, who is on an official visit to Armenia, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Tsitsernakaberd with his wife on February 10. He had shared photos and a post on his page following the visit, in which he used the term Armenian Genocide twice.
However, according to Panorama.am , the post and the accompanying photos were later removed from his official page.
Instead, Vance’s spokesperson Taylor Van Kirk published a brief update acknowledging the memorial visit and included a photo of Vance’s written message in the Honorary Guest Book at the Armenian Genocide Museum.
During his official visit to Armenia, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, accompanied by his wife, visited Tsitsernakaberd to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. In the museum’s Honorary Guest Book, Vance wrote:
"In solemn memory of the lives lost, we honor the resilience and unbreakable spirit of the Armenian people. May America and Armenia together strive for a future of peace and mutual understanding."
